What is a thermostatic radiator valve (TRV)?

Classic TRV

TRVs sense the air temperature around them and regulate the flow of water through the radiator which they are fitted to. They do not control the boiler.

TRVs should be installed on every radiator in your home. You can adjust the setting (usually 1-6) on the TRV to control the temperature in each room; for example, in spare rooms or rooms that have minimal use you can set them at a lower temperature or turn them off to minimise energy wastage.

Drayton offer a wide range of TRVs to suit your budget and lifestyle from the TRV4 which is 'A' rated for efficiency by the European valve manufacturers association to the RT212 which will look good in any contemporary interior. You can also obtain thermostatic heads, bodies and adaptors.
