NEW BOOST FEATURE ADDED TO POPULAR DRAYTON LP RANGE
Drayton Controls has added a boost feature to its popular Lifestyle range of LP electronic programmers to provide householders with greater flexibility and control of their heating timing.
Particularly useful during periods of extremely cold weather when central heating and hot water are required quickly or unexpectedly, the boost feature enables users to temporarily run the heating or hot water programmes for one, two or three hours.
The boost function now comes as standard on all programmers within the LP range, which also feature on/once/timed/off switching options and up to three timing periods per day. These can include common 24-hour timing periods through to 5 day/2 day separate timings for heating and hot water.
Contemporary in design, the LP programmers have large, easy to use buttons and easy to read, backlit screens. Additional features include automatic summer/winter time change, a programme and time memory saver function in the event of power loss, and advance buttons that provide additional control over the set programmes.
The LPSi models also offer a boiler service alert function, which warns householders on the visual display that a boiler service is required for 30 days prior to the due date. If a boiler service is not carried out then comfort levels are reduced and an audible alarm will sound. This is especially useful for private and social housing landlords who are legally required to service boilers in order to comply with Regulation 36 of the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998.
Available to suit most combination and conventional boiler systems, the LP programmers have an accurate preset clock, plus LEDs that provide instant visual indication of the programmer’s operational status.
LP programmers are supplied with a universal backplate for ease of installation and are compliant with Part L of the Building Regulations in England and Wales, and Part J In Scotland.
