SPOTLIGHT ON... RT112 LOW COST TRV
With the financial climate more than matching the now brutal British winters in its somewhat frosty outlook, landlords and homeowners are increasingly on the lookout for a low cost heating control solution.
Drayton’s RT112 is a new addition to its popular range of thermostatic radiator valves, with its affordability, ease of installation and durability making it a great heating control for housing projects where financial considerations are key.
Suitable for elderly residents and the visually impaired, the RT112 features an exclusive head design that is unique to Drayton Controls. The attractive adjusting cap is easy to grip thanks to a series of indents, plus the clear numeral font helps users to accurately control individual room temperatures.

CEN EN215 approved, the RT112 also has a special frost protection setting that will maintain a temperature of between 6˚C and 8˚C to protect room pipes from freezing. It also features a ‘positive off’ function that allows the radiator to be safely removed without fear of the valve opening, plus there are fewer dust traps than conventional TRVs, making it easier to keep clean.
The RT112 can be fitted horizontally or vertically and offers long-term reliability with a satin-nickel plated body and metal ring nut.
The wax filled sensor and settings from 9˚C to 29˚C allow residents to accurately and easily control their room temperatures to suit their needs, providing comfort while saving energy.
