ADVISING CUSTOMERS ON ROOM THERMOSTAT SETTINGS

Room thermostatThe industry recommendation for a room thermostat is 21˚C, but this may need to be adjusted if there are health considerations or elderly occupants that require a warmer environment.

A home’s general temperature can be set to 21˚C, but installers can use TRVs to control the temperature in certain rooms, for example where part of a home has been developed to incorporate a ‘granny flat.’
