We’re proud to share that Schneider Electric has once again been recognised as one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in the Manufacturing & Engineering category. This marks the 2nd consecutive year the company has earned this honour - an achievement based entirely on anonymous employee feedback. As part of the Schneider Electric family, the Drayton is celebrating this recognition and what it represents for our own workplace culture that contributes towards this recognition.
This recognition highlights Schneider Electric’s continued commitment to creating a positive, supportive, and empowering environment where people can thrive. Employees across the business consistently cite a workplace built on inclusivity, wellbeing, fair opportunities, and a genuine focus on people-first values. From structured learning pathways to dedicated mental health and wellbeing support, Schneider Electric invests in helping colleagues feel valued, respected, and able to reach their potential.
That commitment is reflected throughout Drayton too. Our teams benefit from the same culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement, a culture that extends into every part of our operations.

Office and Senior Staff Get a Feel for the Production Line
This spirit of development and curiosity was on full display recently when Sales and Marketing Director Nick Hunt and a familiar face to installers, Trade Marketing Manager Clare Weller, traded their desks for safety boots and spent an afternoon on our motorised valve production line. Guided by our highly skilled operatives, Nick and Clare took part in the assembly process, gaining hands‑on experience with the products they champion every day.
Visits like this aren’t just a change of scenery, it’s a chance to deepen understanding, strengthen cross‑team appreciation, and see first‑hand the expertise, precision, and craftsmanship behind every made-to-last Drayton product. Experiences like this embody our belief that everyone, at every level of the business, should have the opportunity to explore different parts of our supply chain.

It’s this approach to learning, connection, and shared ownership that contributes to Schneider Electric’s continued recognition as a leading employer.
At Drayton, we’re proud to combine this people‑centric culture with our commitment to engineering excellence. Through our Made in Britain accreditation, we remain dedicated to producing heating controls that stand the test of time - trusted by installers for their reliability, ease of servicing, and UK‑based parts and support. Our products endure because they’re built with care, expertise, and a deep respect for our customers’ needs.
Schneider Electric’s Glassdoor recognition reflects values we live every day. At Drayton, we’re honoured to be part of a global network that champions its people, invests in its teams, and strives to make both work and life better for everyone.
