On 24th March 2026, BEAMA launched its cross-sector Climate Commitment launched to accelerate coordinated supply chain decarbonisation. Drayton, part of Schneider Electric, is proud to pledge support for accelerating the spread of decarbonisation technology.
Drayton and similar organisations across the UK’s energy, transport and built environment supply chains have launched a new Climate Commitment aimed at strengthening alignment, accountability and measurable progress toward Net Zero.

Developed by BEAMA’s 2050 Connected platform, its Connected Climate Commitment provides a shared framework for science-based targets, governance integration, circular economy principles and value chain collaboration.
As Scope 3 emissions become central to corporate climate strategies, supply chain organisations face increasing regulatory attention, customer expectations and reporting complexity.
The Commitment establishes a structured, industry-led mechanism to move from ambition to coordinated delivery.
A Unified Supply Chain Approach
As a signatory, Drayton commits to:
- Reducing Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Setting science-based targets aligned to 1.5°C
- Embedding sustainability into governance
- Integrating circular economy principles
- Engaging responsibly in policy development
- Collaborating to strengthen value chain alignment
As an initiative endorsed by both CEF and Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), this commitment reflects growing cross-sector momentum toward collaborative climate leadership.
