Once again this year we are supporting Comic Relief by fundraising for Red Nose Day 2017 with our quirky ‘Brainspotting’ campaign!
We’ve taken inspiration from the silver screen and created our very own movie poster – ‘Brainspotting’ - featuring some of the key faces in the Drayton family.
Film buffs will be familiar with the iconic poster, originally created for the movie Trainspotting, based on the book by Irvine Welsh.
Our version of the poster introduces Tech Head, Boss Lady, Plastic Boy, The Supplier and Space Cadet, who are the brains behind the brand.

Drayton has joined forces with its local community charity, Plymouth Energy Community (PEC), to provide free heating controls as part of a campaign to help the most vulnerable people living in the city.
As part of the PEC ‘Healthy Homes’ project, which has been funded by a charitable grant from the British Gas Energy Trust, Drayton has donated over 200 heating controls, worth in the region of £10,000.

Ho, Ho, Ho – Merry Christmas!
To get us all into the festive spirit in the lead up to Christmas, Drayton is offering you the chance to win one of twelve daily prizes.

Drayton recently donated heating controls to Blackpool Carers Centre, Beaverbrooks House as part of BBC One special episode 'DIY SOS: Children in Need Special.
The BBC DIY SOS team, along with hundreds of volunteer trades and generous companies, renovated a Victorian house into a new Young Carers’ facility in Blackpool.
Since 2005, Blackpool Carers Centre has reached out and provided lifeline services to young carers and their families in Blackpool.

On October 30th this year the clocks go back, signalling the end of British Summertime (BST).  In the days that follow this, installers often receive calls from confused householders who don’t know how to adjust their timers and programmers.

Drayton will be once again lining up at Stamford Bridge for the annual instalment of PHEX Chelsea 2016, taking place on the 16th and 17th November.
Drayton will be showcasing its range of heating controls, including its leading TRVs and thermostats, and also the newest addition to the collection – the miGenie Wish series.

Although you may be apprehensive about jumping on the smart controls bandwagon, there is an increasing demand for these devices. Sales of smart thermostats are set to rise by a massive 40% in 2016 meaning there is great potential to boost business with smart controls installations and upgrades.

Drayton returns to the Farnborough Exhibition Centre for the next annual instalment of Screwfix Live, taking place from Friday 30th September – Sunday 2nd October.

Drayton returned to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry for the second year running for Installer 2016, and it did not disappoint!
Installer 2016 – the specialist trade show dedicated to the heating and plumbing industry – presented the perfect opportunity to put the miGenie internet connected controls to the test, and challenge installers to compete in the ‘Fastest Fit’ competition.

H&V News, the trade press magazine, hold an annual award ceremony which highlights the best and newest products in the heating controls industry.  This year, Drayton's miGenie has reached the final stages of the judging process.  This is great news for the new internet connected heating product and reflects the great feedback that has been received from installers and homeowners alike.  The awards ceremony will be held on 21st April when the decision will be revealed if Drayton's miGenie has won its category.  Fingers crossed!
